Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of hunting when a delay of actual drive force is increased, by changing a waste time element of a control objective model to a value in accordance with a transient characteristic of a continuously variable transmission when target drive force is attained by speed change ratio of the continuously variable transmission with engine torque in a saturated condition.
SOLUTION: At vehicle running time, an actual car speed is obtained from an inverse of a measured car speed pulse width in a car speed controller A. Whether automatic car speed control (ASCD) is set or not is decided, in the case that an accelerating switch 2 is on during ASCD operation, an acceleration control mode is judged, a prescribed value is added to the present target car speed to accelerate a vehicle. Further, whether engine torque is in a saturated condition or not is detected, and at saturation condition time, disturbance applied to the vehicle by target drive force and the actual car speed is estimated, and a waste time element in an enciphered model used in an estimation means correcting the target drive force is changed. In this way, a margin degree of a car speed control system is increased, generation of hunting of a car speed or the like is suppressed.
