PURPOSE: To obtain a cartridge type disk drive device provided with the shutter opening/closing mechanism capable of suppressing deterioration of strength of a holder caused by forming plural guide grooves and of reducing the movement distance in the vertical direction of the holder and also capable of moving the disk cartridge surely to the prescribed position at the time of the ejection.

CONSTITUTION: By a sliding pin 27 inserted through the guide groove 21, a cam part 26 for opening/closing the shutter is turnably supported in the holder 1 and also a twist coil spring 23 is supported. A shutter opening/closing lever 25 is restrained at one end part of this twist coil spring 23, and another end part is abutted on a cam guide surface 22. The shutter opening/closing lever 25 is engaged with the shutter of the disk cartridge inserted to the holder 1 to move the disk cartridge in the insertion direction, and also the shutter is opened by the shutter opening/closing lever 25. The disk cartridge and the shutter opening/closing lever 25 are connected in the holder 1 by a restraining lever 24.
