To control fluctuation in voltage on an electric load device side and fluctuation in current on a DC side with good balance in a converter for performing voltage conversion between a DC power supply and an electric load device.
The control device 30 includes a subtractor 104 for calculating a deviation difference ΔVH obtained by subtracting the output voltage VH of the converter from a voltage command value VHcom, a correction unit 105 for correcting the deviation difference ΔVH, a voltage control calculation unit 106 for calculating a current command value IR corresponding to the deviation difference ΔVH after the correction with the correction unit 105, a subtractor 108 for subtracting the current IL received from an S/H circuit 116 from the current command value IR, and a current control calculation unit 110 for performing high response control for enhancing the control responsiveness of the converter by current feedback control based on the calculation results by the subtractor 108. The correction unit 105 has a function for adjusting whether the high response control is performed, based on the determination whether the output voltage VH remains within a target range relative to the voltage command value VHcom.
