Abstract:

To make a cover of a rice cooker compact by improving a hook releasing structure of the rice cooker.

The tip of a hook releasing arm 31 mounted on a hook releasing button 7 is made to face the lower part of the tip of a hook arm 18, and an engagement starting point A of the hook releasing arm 31 relative to the hook arm 18 is located at a position lower than a hook shaft 14, the center of rotation of the hook arm, as the reference. Accordingly, the cover is made compact by the size equivalent to the lowering of the engagement starting point A.
