Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of a diaphragm and an electrode, and to supply an acidic water and an alkaline water each having a prescribed pH from the beginning of electrolysis.
SOLUTION: In this electrolytic water generating device provided with a diluted brine tank 290 for storing brine, an electrolytic cell 30 connected tot he diluted brine tank 20 through a feed pipe and divided into 2 sections housing the electrode 34 and 35 respectively by the diaphragm 31, a motor-driven pump 24 interposingly attached to the feed pipe 20 and forcibly feeding the diluted fine in the diluted brine tank 20 to both sections 22, 23 of the electrolytic cell 30 and a controller for controlling the energization of both electrodes 34, 35 and the operation of the motor-driver pump 24, the whole reaction surface of teach electrode 34, 35 can be dipped into the brine even at the time of the stoppage of the electric motor pump 24, and the motor-driven pump 24 is driven by the controller after the lapse of a 1st setted time T1 from starting the energization of both electrodes 34, 35 and is stopped after the lapse of a 2nd setted time T2 from stopping the energization of both electrodes 34, 35.
