Abstract:
To obtain a granule composition comprising lactose and starch and to provide a method for obtaining the granule having lowered frangibility, effective flow property, excellent properties for tablet formation and sufficient disintegration property while having a scarce hygroscopic property.
The granule is obtained by spray drying a suspension of lactose and a granular starch having a predetermined mixed ratio of lactose/starch of 90/10 to 25/75, preferably 85/15 to 50/50, or the like, and the granule has frangibility by a test method A of ≤80%, preferably ≤60%.
