To provide a hybrid type drive device for a diesel motor car provided with a constant frequency generator for obtaining in-vehicle power and driven by an engine and an electric motor with a simple and compact constitution.
The hybrid type drive device for the diesel motor car comprises an electric drive part ED comprising the engine, the battery and the generator/motor and a transmission T having an output for driving an axle, and has the in-vehicle power generator. The device is provided with a first power transmission route (1-5) for transmitting power from the engine to an input shaft of the transmission T; a second power transmission route (1-25) for transmitting power from the engine E to the in-vehicle power generator G through a constant speed rotation mechanism; and a third power transmission route (5-29) for transmitting power from the generator/motor M to the input shaft of the transmission T. A meshing gear and a gear support shaft of the second power transmission route and a meshing gear and a gear support shaft of the third power transmission route are commonly used.
