Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in the conventional technology for combusting the unburned fuel in an exhaust pipe as the technology for preventing turbo lag, that since the combustion in the exhaust pipe is the precondition, a temperature of the exhaust pipe is increased, the exhaust pipe is severely damaged, and further the emission may be impaired.
SOLUTION: In Fig. (a), rapid opening is recognized when a throttle opening is positioned at left side with respect to a rapid open threshold value shown in a graph, when a throttle in a closed condition is rapidly opened from a point P1. In (C), an ignition period is switched from a normal ignition period to a correction ignition period at a point P3 where the information that a throttle speed is over the rapid opening threshold value, is received. When a throttle valve is rapidly opened, the ignition period is advanced with respect to the normal ignition period. Whereby the start of combustion is quickened, a rotating speed of the engine can be increased, the rise of an exhaust turbine is quickened, and the drivability (operating performance) is improved.
