Title:
LIGHT-EMITTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3702089
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record clear, good, high-quality images by arranging a plurality of light-emitting elements at a predetermined interval in a serpentine shape at two inclined faces of a groove part of a silicon substrate and shedding light straight from the light-emitting elements set at each inclined face.
SOLUTION: A groove part 1V of a V-shaped section is formed at an upper face of a silicon substrate 1. An angle θ between two inclined faces Va and Vb of the groove part 1V is set to be 120-160°. A plurality of light-emitting elements 3a and a plurality of light-emitting elements 3b are arranged at a nearly constant interval in a serpentine shape at one inclined face Va and the other inclined face Vb of the groove part 1V respectively. The light from the light-emitting elements 3a, 3b is adapted to be focused on an image formation face when all of the thus-arranged light-emitting elements 3a, 3b generate light at the same time. In other words, the light-emitting elements are set to shed the light alternately and straight on a photosensitive material P. Clear, good, high-quality images can be recorded accordingly.
