To provide a liquid discharge head with high electrical reliability that ensures electric insulation of a lead of a flexible wire member.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head has a substrate, a flexible wire member, and a sealant that covers an electric connection part for electrically connecting them. A second film of the flexible wire member has an extension part that extends to overlap a lead.
