PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and device for generating a display color tone capable of automatically generating coloring of respective elements corresponding to the attribute only by specifying the attribute converted to color information.
SOLUTION: When a user specifies the attribute converted to the color information from a user input part 3, the specified attribute is inputted to an attribute extraction part 5, and the attribute extraction part 5 inputs an attribute value set of an attribute item from an information set stored in a storage part 1, and outputs the number (n) of elements and an element eliminating the redundancy to supply them to a color palette generation part 7. The color palette generation part 7 calculates combination rates among three primary colors for respective elements, that is, RGB values from the number (n) of elements inputted from the attribute extraction part 5 and serial numbers (x) allocated to respective elements by a color palette generation function to supply them to a display means 9. The display means 9 synthesizes the color tone of respective elements according to the combination rate of three primary colors supplied from the color palette generation part 7 to display them as a color palette.
