PURPOSE: To save time required for executing data erasure processing the time of the write-in of data, and to attain the high speed of operation in data write-in processing by erasing beforehand the data by a data erasing means before data write-in operation is executed.
CONSTITUTION: A requesting means 6 and an executing means 7 for the write-in of the data are provided for a rerewritable magneto-optical disk device 8, and before the execution of the data write-in operation, first of all, a data erasure request is requested by a data erasure requesting means 1, and the data is erased previously by a data erasure processing means 3. After that, a data write-in request and a data collation request are requested by a data write-in requesting means 2, and the data write-in processing and data collation processing are executed by a data write-in processing means 4 and a data collation processing means 5. Accordingly, the time required for executing the data erasure processing can be saved in respect of the data write-in operation, and the data write-in operation is speeded up.
