Abstract:
To provide an optical compensation sheet excellent in adhesive durability.
In the optical compensation sheet consisting of a polymer film containing an aromatic compound, the aromatic compound does not concentrate on the film surface in the distribution of the aromatic compound in the film thickness direction and the aromatic compound hardly separates on the film surface even after the lapse of long time. For example, in forming the polymer film with a solution casting method, the optical compensation sheet is obtained by casting an organic solvent containing the polymer and the aromatic compound in an atmosphere where an organic solvent gas concentration is within 2-40%.
