PURPOSE: To display a cursor at an electromagnetic wave incident position and to display a menu window and a video signal at the same time.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a video device with a position sensor 20 obtained by integrating a 2-position sensor 20b detecting the incident position of a electromagnetic wave beam radiated from outside and a display device 20a displaying the menu window and the pointer cursor. When the electromagnetic wave beam is made incident from a parameter input device 1, the 2-dimentional position sensor 20b imparts the positional signal to a cursor control signal generation means 41. When a cursor generation means 42 generates cursor pattern and outputs it to the video device with the position sensor 20 by way of a display means 43, the cursor is displayed at a desired position and the position can easily be moved by remote control.
