CONSTITUTION: A node table 302 and a link table 303 of digital map data 201 read by map data reading processing 314, with which the digital map data 201 are read from a data base to a main memory, are displayed on a display 313. A road data changing operator 2O5 designates 309 the road to be changed on the map displayed on the display 313. Then, the designated road is retrieved 310 from the digital map data 201. The road data changing operator 205 inputs change data and simultaneously changes 311 the road data retrieved by the road data retrieving processing 310. Then, the data changed by the simultaneous road data changing processing 311 are stored 312 as digital map data.
