Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3942779
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material having suitability to laser scanning exposure, capable of enhancing the productivity and stability of a system and less liable to a density change due to a change of the ambient temperature in exposure.
SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the substrate and a silver halide emulsion contained in the emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion having ≥90 mol% silver chloride content chemically sensitized with a gold compound at pH 4.0-5.6 in the presence of 1.0×10-9-1.0×10-5 mol at least one compound of the formula R21-SO2S-M21 (X) or R22-SO2-M22 (Y) based on 1 mol silver. In the formulae X and Y, R21 and R22 are each an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group; and M21 and M22 are each a cation).
