PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create image data which can perform stereoscopic display by using a multiple view point image and also to perform stereoscopic display by setting plural view points, using multiple view point image data and creating plural image data which are seen from plural set view points respectively to output them. SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image data display system 2 acquires multiple view point image data through an internet, etc., and stores the in memory 8. A desired one among multiple view point data which are stored in the memory 8 is selected by using an input device 14 and left and right view points are set to perform stereoscopic display. Next, a CPU 6 creates image data which are seen from the left view point and the right view point and outputs them through an input-output interface 12. A stereoscopic display 16 performs internal synthesization of image data which are seen from the left and right view points and performs stereoscopic display. With this, it is possible to conveniently perform stereoscopic display by using existing multiple view point image data.
