Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain various types of fuzzy logic arithmetic operations with a single element in order to perform the tuning of the fuzzy logic arithmetic through the learning in regard of a fuzzy control arithmetic neuron element which is used when the fuzzy control is attained in a neural network. CONSTITUTION:A multiplication part 1 is provided to multiply plural input variables xi by the connection weight wi together with an addition part 2 which adds together the multiplication values obtained at the part 1 and obtains the sum total of these values, and a threshold value processing part 3 which outputs the value (y) obtained by applying the threshold value processing to the output of the pert 2 based on a sigmoid function (S-shaped function). Then the weight wi of the part 1 and the threshold value theta of the part 3 are set so that a prescribed fuzzy logic arithmetic operation is attained.
