To achieve a vehicle door structure improving impact absorption performance while reducing the weight thereof.
An impact beam 30 forms a hut-shaped cross-section with a recessed portion 32 opening into a vehicle interior 28 in a door-closed state. A pad 40 disposed toward the vehicle interior 28 in the door-closed state with respect to the impact beam 30 is fixed to a side door body 12, and a protruded portion 46 is entered into the recessed portion 32 of the impact beam 30. During a side impact crash of a barrier 50, the load onto the impact beam 30 is stably supported by the protruded portion 46 of the pad 40, thereby preventing or suppressing collapse deformation of the impact beam 30. Thus, the barrier 50 stably receives a reaction force from a side door 10, and the impact load of the barrier 50 is continuously absorbed than when the impact beam 30 is subjected to large collapse deformation.
