Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle guiding device whereby guidance and induction to a suitable route to a destination is executed based on a the name of described on a road sign.
CONSTITUTION: A route judging means 6 inside a navigation control part 7 the place recognizes where its own vehicle is located at present based on data 3a concerning the present position of the vehicle, which is supplied from an its own vehicle position detecting device 3 and judges whether the route with the place name given from a place name input means 5 as a place to be a medium is proper or not at the time of going to the destination(the last destination) which is previously set by a destination setting means 4. When the plural place names are inputted, the respective place names are judged and the most proper one is selected so as to be outputted. A judgement result outputting means 8 outputs a judgement result in the form of a voice message or picture display.
