Abstract:
It is possible to perform a process on a medium to be processed with a desired accuracy while reducing the process tact time. A processing device includes a control unit (7), an X-axis encoder (6A), and a Y-axis encoder (6B). The control unit (7) has a shift calculation unit (75), a range calculation unit (74), a stabilization judging unit (71), and a process width calculation unit (107). The X-axis encoder (6A) and the Y-axis encoder (6B) detect the position of a reference point. The shift calculation unit (75) calculates a position shift between a target position and the reference position. The process width calculation unit (107) calculates the width of a process range to be processed by an ink jet head. The range calculation unit (74) calculates a position shift range (stabilization range) which allows the process range to be processed by the ink jet head to be contained within cells on a liquid crystal panel. The stabilization judging unit (71) judges that the vibration is stabilized when the position shift amount detected by the detection means is converged into the stabilization range. After the stabilization, the ink jet head performs a process on the liquid crystal panel.
