Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device which is excellent in resistance against a calcium chloride in addition to low water absorption performance, can sufficiently withstand a use in a snowfall district, and is high in reliability.SOLUTION: A bearing device 1 comprises: an outer ring equivalent member 7 which has an outer ring raceway at an internal peripheral face thereof, and does not rotate in use; an inner ring equivalent member 6 which has an inner ring raceway at an external peripheral face thereof opposing the internal peripheral face of the outer ring equivalent member 7, and rotates in use; a plurality of rolling bodies 2 which are rollingly provided between the outer ring raceway and the inner ring raceway; a rotation detecting encoder 12 which is fixed to the inner ring equivalent member 6; and a synthetic resin made cover 14 which is fixed to an outer ring opening part. In the bearing device 1, the synthetic resin made cover 14 contains a polyamide 410 resin whose number average molecular weight is 13,000 to 30,000.
