Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth out correction of drive force, while preventing the generation of vehicle shocks that give the driver a sense of incongruity, when running resistance changes suddenly while the accelerator depression amount is nearly constant. SOLUTION: A drive force control device for a vehicle is provided with a normal target drive force setting portion 1 for setting the target drive force corresponding to a flat road as a normal target drive force tTd-n based on an accelerator depression amount APO and vehicle speed VSP, a drive force correction amount calculating portion 3 for calculating running resistance RESTRQ which has increased relative to a reference running resistance as a primary target additional correction drive force TADDFD, a correction target drive force calculating portion 6 for outputting the sum of the primary target additional correction drive force and the normal target drive force as a target drive force tDd, and an change speed adjustment portion 4 for controlling the change in the speed of the primary target additional correction drive force TADDFD with a prescribed upper limit value and a lower limit value.
