Abstract:

To provide an image processing apparatus and a program in which power reduction due to a power saving mode can be attained even when receiving data many times.

While the image processing apparatus is in a power saving state (S101), when it is determined that data are received (S102:Yes), the network I/F instructs a timer to start counting of the time (S103). The timer acquires date/time information indicating the date and time when the data are received (S104) and sets a time-up time in accordance with the date/time information (S105). When the lapse of a recovery time is determined (S106:Yes), the timer notifies a CPU of the determination and stops counting of the time (S107). The CPU starts recovery processing to deal with the received data (S108).
