To provide a limited surface interference checking device etc. that checks interference between a limited surface which is newly set and objects including buildings to be existed in the area when considering extension and enlargement of runways in an existing airport or establishment of an airport in a new location.

The object range of the limited surface displayed on a map is shifted by an amount specified by a user through an input means on the map. Based on location information of the registered object, it is discriminated whether the registered object is present within the object range of the limited surface moved. The absolute height of the object is computed by adding the height of the object with the altitude of a point where the object is present for every object discriminated that it is present within the object range of the limited surface moved. The absolute height of the computed object is compared with the height of the limited surface that is shifted, and the interference between the object and the limited surface for every object is checked, thus the interference checking results are displayed on the displayed map.
