Abstract:
A pump system for a motor vehicle having a first pump (1) and a second pump (2) which can be driven by an electric motor (E) and/or an internal combustion engine (V), characterized in that the first pump (1) and the second pump (2) can be coupled by a clutch. A method of operating a pump system in a motor vehicle includes driving a first pump (1) and a second pump (2) by an electric motor (E) and/or an internal combustion engine (V) by coupling the first pump (1) and a second pump (2).
