Abstract:
Provide is a vehicle display device capable of detecting the state of a viewer. The present invention comprises: a display panel 10 that displays vehicle information; an imaging means 61 for imaging the state of the viewer who is able to view the display panel 10; and an infrared irradiation unit 62 that radiates infrared light toward the viewer. The configuration is such that the infrared light radiated from the infrared irradiation unit 62 is radiated toward the viewer, and the infrared light irradiating the viewer is reflected and incident on the imaging means 61. The infrared irradiation unit 62 is located outside the display panel 10.
